Perspective

Sometimes in the midst of life's intensity, we need distractions and changes in perspective. Distractions lift our eyes off of the uncertainty of our circumstances. Different perspectives help us see life from a different vantage point. It reminds us that life is bigger than our circumstances. I'm thankful for the ways God uses His people and His Word to bring different perspectives and distractions.

One very literal way God has allowed me to change my perspective is through photography. I have always enjoyed photography. I have many albums filled with photos from my childhood and teenage years. Over the past 8 years, I have taught myself a lot about photography and since my sweet boy Asher was born, I have had a model with me 24/7. It is a hobby I truly enjoy.  God has allowed photography to be a way for me to have a different perspective as a I grieve our secondary infertility. To be honest, it has been hard at times to know how to rejoice with other as they receive the thing that I grieve the loss of. Photography has been such a great way for me to connect, be engaged and rejoice in life's blessings to others. I am so thankful to God for this gift.
