Shadow

This girl is my shadow. We were making some process with daddy. She even let him hold her! Then I went to take a shower and within a few minutes she realized I was gone and stood at the door sobbing. She wouldn’t let Paul touch her. Please pray for her heart. She’s never known a mom, it will take time for her to not only trust Paul but also learn what it is to have a mommy. Right now, I’m a new caregiver. She needs to learn that we are forever mommy and daddy. This kind of healing takes time and it’s a beautiful answer to prayer that she’s attaching to one of us! Pray for my continued strength and for her to grow deeper in her trust of us both!
