The Shoes, Though.

Two days ago when we got the second call that we could not pick up Ella, we were picking up Jaipur flats. It was as wild an experience as we have had. Everything is an adventure here. I decided to wear them yesterday to get Ella. When we arrived at the orphanage there was much more of a language barrier with the director than expected. We had no guide with us, so we did our best to communicate. The director seemed distant and a bit cold. Not open to questions, but also working through paperwork, which is no easy task! Then she saw my shoes, commented on how much she loved them and her personality flipped. She was so warm and helpful. God works even in these small details. What a great God we serve. Also our daughter is from an amazing place with amazing shoes.
